On Saturday, April 18th, 2026, the Fulbright Association for Western New York/Northwest Pennsylvania (WNY/NWPA) hosted an event in Rochester for the Fulbright Scholars and Researchers in the Rochester and Buffalo area. The day consisted of a guided tour of the George Eastman House followed by lunch on the RIT campus in the Innovation Center.

Several members of the Fulbright Association Board, including Peggy Tirrell, senior associate director for graduate programs and admissions for Saunders College of Business, were present. Also participating were recent Fulbright awardees, Emi Moriuchi, associate professor in the department of MIS, marketing, and analytics, and Quang Neo Bui, associate professor in the department of MIS, marketing, and analytics.
Students from the University of Buffalo, the University of Rochester and RIT also attended.
