As a graduate student of the University at Buffalo, Gabriela began her career as an assistant academic advisor. Getting to know her students and helping them grow to their full potential truly solidified her career path. Her most recent position was with The Discovery Charter School where she spent a few years as an Elementary Classroom/ENL teacher focused on teaching ELA, Math and ENL English. She has now returned to higher education to pursue the line of work that aligns with her career goals. Gabriela earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Education from the University at Buffalo. On the personal side she loves traveling to Buffalo to visit friends and family and enjoys reading, exercising, and traveling whenever she can.
