This exhibit is a museum display that is intended to teach patrons of all ages at the Rochester Museum and Science Center about drones and give them a general understanding of the mechanics behind the unmanned aerial vehicles. Through hands on interaction, users will experience how the drone moves based on what is done on the controller. Infographics and a cross-sectional view will provide insight into the typical applications for drones and some of the inner workings. The goal is for the exhibit to encourage patrons to explore, engage, and leave with newfound knowledge on this technology.
