This Rochester Institute of Technology: Multidisciplinary Senior Design project aims to provide an automatic system, called an "Ollie Box," to horn the sequences that begin dinghy sailing races. This system will reduce the focus of the primary race official on the timing of the sequence and increase their focus on the legality and safety of the race starts. The improved race start situations will strengthen the fairness and integrity of the race start and will provide for a more positive racing experience for all participants, especially within the RIT Sailing Team.

This is the top view of the box, showing the screen, horn button (left), on/off switch (right), and horn.
