RESKO B-Respirator

Location

Student Hall for Exploration and Development - 2360

Side-by-side photos of RIT students and activities with the text See How RIT is Advancing the Exceptional underneath.

The B-Respirator is designed for men with beards or anyone who has non-standard facial features. The device utilizes a mouth and nose piece to bypass a traditional skin contact seal. The exhibit will allow visitors to learn about the current state of the project as well as how past iterations have contributed to the current state. The exhibit will have a monitor to show videos, pictures, and other media related to the project's progress. We will include CAD, pictures of our team members wearing the respirator, and time lapses of parts printing if possible. Multiple iterations of the respirator prototype will be on display, as well as some packaging material provided by the client.
