Modify a College Exploration Program

Overview

College Exploration Programs can be updated by the host college during the regular bulletin process.

Undeclared Programs will follow the same guidance as College Exploration Programs.

Updated Proposal and Required Approvals

To modify an existing College Exploration Program, the following steps must be completed:

  • Prepare an updated description and RIT Curriculum Table which identifies the courses students will take
  • Secure approval from the following:
    • Department Head
    • College Curriculum Committee

After Approval

Submit the updated description and curriculum table to the Office of the Vice Provost during the annual bulletin process.

The Office of the Vice Provost will review the proposal and submit it to Registrar’s Office. The updated exploration program will be reflected on the RIT Programs of Study website and in the Undergraduate Bulletin during the regular annual process.
