Multidisciplinary Research Program of the University Research Initiative

The Department of Defense Multidisciplinary University Research Initiative (MURI) is sponsored by the Office of Naval Research (ONR), the Army Research Office (ARO), and the Air Force Office of Scientific Research. It supports basic research in science and engineering at U.S. institutions of higher education and is focused on multidisciplinary research efforts where more than one traditional discipline interacts to provide rapid advances in scientific areas of interest to the Department of Defense.

DOE Scientific Machine Learning for Complex Systems

The DOE SC program in Advanced Scientific Computing Research (ASCR) hereby announces its interest in research applications to explore potentially high-impact approaches in the development and use of scientific machine learning (SciML) and artificial intelligence (AI) in the predictive modeling, simulation and analysis of complex systems and processes.

2023 Principal Investigator Reception

We are currently reinstating our annual PI Reception. In April 2020, this event was initially cancelled due to COVID-19 and we are happy to announce that this recognition event is returning this year. The 2023 Principal Investigator Reception will be held on March 21st from 3:00pm - 4:30pm. Please join us at the University Gallery for a celebration honoring our PI's.
