Carichino presents team's research at American Mathematical Society Meeting

Lucia Carichino, assistant professor in the School of Mathematical Sciences, presented “Mathematical Modeling of Jasmonic Acid Biosynthesis” at the American Mathematical Society Spring Southeastern Sectional Meeting. This talk presented the interdisciplinary mathematical and biological framework she and Eli Borrego, assistant professor in  the Thomas H. Gosnell School of Life Sciences, are currently developing to study jasmonic acid production during the maize wound response.
