Lasko wins award for academic excellence
Physics major Ashley Lasko is the 2022-2023 winner of the Norman A. Miles Award for Academic Excellence in Study. This award is given to a student who began their studies as a first-year student at RIT and is entering their last year as an undergraduate student with the highest grade point across the university. A second component of this award allows the student to select a faculty member to be given the Norman A. Miles Award for Academic Excellence in Teaching. Lasko has requested that this award be given to Moumita Das, associate professor in the School of Physics and Astronomy.
