Michel named a 2026 Fellow of the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
Lea Michel, professor in the School of Chemistry and Materials Science and director of Access and Belonging Initiatives in the College of Science, was named a 2026 Fellow of the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, recognizing her exceptional service, interdisciplinary research on bacterial lipoproteins and sepsis diagnostics, and national leadership advancing access and belonging in the molecular life sciences.
