Student team presents at Lake Ontario conference

Students Kristina Chomiak (environmental science MS), Mechelle Cureaux (chemistry MS), Olivia Martin (chemistry BS), Juliette Daily (mathematical modeling Ph.D.), and Associate Professor Christy Tyler presented at the State of Lake Ontario Conference, organized by the International Association of Great Lakes Research. The work they presented is part of an interdisciplinary study on the transport, fate, and impact of microplastic pollution in Lake Ontario, with co-authors across RIT, including Associate Professor Nathan Eddingsaas, Associate Professor Matthew Hoffman, Professor Andre Hudson, and Associate Professor Steven Day.
