Team presents at association meeting

Sandi Connelly, principal lecturer; Emily Coon-Frisch, adjunct faculty; and Michelle Weatherell, lecturer, all of the Thomas H. Gosnell School of Life Sciences, presented their work on the redesign of the general education course, BIOL 101 General Biology, at the Association for Biology Laboratory Education (ABLE) Meeting in Syracuse, N.Y. on Oct. 25. The presentation focused on the active learning components being implemented in their large-lecture format course, and new collaborators were identified for content sharing and dissemination of learning outcomes.
