Team publishes analysis of graduate admissions metrics
A team of RIT researchers published an analysis of whether graduate admissions metrics were predictive of graduate GPA and how graduate GPA affected Ph.D. completion. The research team included graduate student Mike Verostek, Associate Dean Casey Miller, and Associate Professor Ben Zwickl. Their work was published in Physical Review Physics Education Research and a synopsis was featured in Physics magazine.

RIT is spearheading a transformative $7.3 million research hub in collaboration with the University of Rochester. The center will study the lifecycle of microplastics, including its origin as plastic waste, distribution, and movement in the Great Lakes freshwater ecosystem.
