Team publishes article in ‘Fluids’
Michael Izaguirre, imaging science Ph.D. candidate, with co-authors Luke Nearhood ’22 (physics), and Shima Parsa, assistant professor in the School of Physics and Astronomy, published “Quantifying Uniform Droplet Formation in Microfluidics Using Variational Mode Decomposition” in the journal Fluids. The article describes a novel application of signal analysis in microfluidics to predict droplet uniformity by sampling velocity in a single inlet of a drop-maker.

RIT Singers team up with Madrigalia and RIT exhibitors
The RIT Singers will join members of the local singing group Madrigalia to present a concert dedicated to protecting and sustaining the Earth, and revitalizing nature. Formed in 1975, the chamber choir has collaborated with local and international audiences as well as premiering new works.
