Matt Ronnenberg, color science Ph.D. student, and Assistant Professor Susan Farnand worked with 3D printing technology that now permits an object to be fabricated with multiple colors and goniochromatic effects (angular dependent color). The application was to replicate the appearance of the emerald ash borer to aid in control of this damaging pest.
