NSF invites current grantees to submit supplemental funding requests for research visits to identified research groups funded by the European Research Council (ERC). The Dear Colleague Letter NSF 20-069 describes process for requesting supplements.
Eligibility is limited to PIs and co-PIs on active NSF awards. A list of ERC-funded PIs and research teams is available on request from NSF.
NSF awardees may request supplemental funding for short-term, long-term or multiple visits. NSF will provide supplemental funding for foreign travel expenses.
Grantees must consult with the cognizant NSF program director of their original award prior to submitting a supplemental funding request. Please see the Dear Colleague Letter for details of the request.
NSF must receive requests at least 3 months prior to the proposed visit, but no later than May 15, 2020 for consideration using FY 2020 funds.
