Revise & Resubmit Initiative - workshops

The Office of the Vice President for Research is excited to announce a new initiative, A Three Component Strategy for Success, to support faculty in revising and resubmitting previously declined proposals to the National Science Foundation (NSF).

Securing NSF funding is highly competitive, and many strong proposals are declined due to limited program resources or specific reviewer concerns. Fortunately, NSF encourages resubmissions and provides detailed feedback to help investigators improve their proposals. National data show that resubmitted proposals—especially those that thoughtfully address reviewer critiques—have significantly higher success rates than first-time submissions.

The in-person interactive workshop: Reimaging Your NSF Proposal is one step in this initiative to help faculty refine and resubmit their NSF proposal with extra support and guidance.
