AI Essentials for Educators Course
The AI Essentials for Educators course is designed to help RIT faculty thoughtfully integrate artificial intelligence into their teaching in ways that align with their instructional goals.
Developed by the Center for Teaching and Learning, this course introduces the foundations of AI literacy for education. Participants will explore the basics of AI, discover time-saving strategies, and reflect on how to update their teaching philosophy to respond to today’s evolving educational landscape.
Course Format & Schedule
- In-person sessions (Wallace A600)
- Kick off: Wednesday, October 1, 12-12:50 pm
- Wrap up: Friday, November 7, 12-12:50 pm
- Asynchronous modules: Four online modules in myCourses to be completed independently
- Registration deadline: Tuesday, September 30, 2025
