Zoom now allows for a specialized Sign Language Interpreter Role to be given to interpreter staff so they have a dedicated video feed. Participants have a more flexible view of the interpreter during the meeting and in cloud recordings. While this training is about how to use the new Zoom interpreter feature, attendees needing interpreting services should contact Access Services.
In this training, you will learn how to:
- Properly schedule Zoom meetings as a meeting host to enable this feature.
- Assign interpreters to the new Zoom Interpreter role as a meeting host.
- View the interpreter during a Zoom meeting as a meeting participant.
- View the interpreter in a Zoom cloud recording.
This session is intended for RIT faculty, staff and students. Participants should request Access Services, if needed.
