Learning in the SHED - A Student Perspective

What is it actually like to learn in the SHED? This session explores the student experience in RIT’s active-learning classrooms, with attention to what helps students feel engaged, supported, and successful. We will consider how room setup, instructor choices, group dynamics, and classroom expectations shape learning from the student point of view. Faculty will leave with a better understanding of how students experience these spaces and with ideas for creating a more inclusive, effective learning environment.
