Altay publishes paper in ‘Cleaner Engineering’ journal

Bilge Altay, an assistant professor in the Department of Graphic Media Science and Technology, published “The effect of green biobased binder on structural, mechanical, liquid absorption and wetting properties of coated papers” in the journal Cleaner Engineering and Technology. The research developed by building international and industrial partnerships to study the fundamental aspects of a starch-based nanoparticle biolatex engineered to replace petroleum-based synthetic latex in papermaking industry introduces the biolatex structure property process performance relationship.
