Brown awarded research grant
Donathan Brown, assistant provost and assistant vice president for Faculty Diversity and Recruitment, with colleagues from the University of Maribor, has been awarded a multi-year research grant from the Slovenian Research Agency. Their bilateral study, “Discourse on Black Lives Matter, Law Enforcement and The Use of Deadly Force on Unarmed People of Color from a Cross-Cultural Perspective,” will study how Black Lives Matter is discussed and debated in the United States and Slovenia.

Decked out with technicolor lights and vibrant animated displays, RIT’s MAGIC Spell Studios soundstage became a runway last week during Beyond Fashion. The rainbow runway featured a diverse collection of garments and wearables crafted by local designers and RIT students across multiple disciplines.
