Petree publishes book on advice for parents of college students
Chelsea Petree, director of RIT’s Parent and Family Programs, has released the 2022 edition of College Ready: Expert Advice for Parents to Simplify the College Transition. The book, written by Petree and colleagues in the family engagement field, covers topics including balancing access needs and student privacy, how to have tough conversations, preparing students for adult responsibilities, packing, and supporting students through the first semester. All parents of incoming RIT students will receive a free digital edition.
