Polly selected for distinguished NASA award
Stephen Polly, researcher/engineer in the NanoPower Research Laboratories, was one of six people selected for a NASA Innovative Advanced Concepts Phase II award. The two-year, $600,000 program will continue to explore the feasibility and development of a new thermoradiative cell power source for space missions where solar cells are not practical, such as the outer planets.
