Ticket information now available for Saturday’s NCAA regional finals in Albany

The RIT men's hockey team celebrated a 2-1 victory over Denver and is now one win away from a berth in the NCAA Frozen Four.

Goaltender Jared DeMichiel tied a career-best performance with 39 saves, as the RIT men’s hockey team secured a dramatic 2-1 win over the top-seeded Denver Pioneers Friday in the NCAA Regional Semifinal at the Times Union Center in Albany.

RIT won its first NCAA contest as a Division I program and tied a team record with its 11th straight win. The Tigers will play New Hampshire in the NCAA Regional Championship at 6:30 p.m. Saturday. The winner of the game advances to the NCAA Frozen Four in Detroit from April 8-10.

Tickets will be available for the regional final on Saturday at the Gordon Field House Box office starting at 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the discounted price rate of $20 for RIT students and $42 for non-students.

In addition, there will be buses going to the game departing at 1:30 p.m. Saturday from the Lower Ice Rink Entrance at Ritter Arena. Seating is limited, so please sign up at the Gordon Field House Box office when you purchase tickets Saturday. It is a first-come first-served.

Alumni can purchase up to 6 tickets for $40 each. Admission to a tailgate party, which runs 4-6 p.m. at the Times Union Center, is available for an additional $5. Game tickets may also be purchased at the arena in Albany for $46.
