RIT United Way Campaign Hosts Carnival on Campus, March 16

The annual RIT United Way campaign kickoff begins with a Carnival on Campus and prize auction from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 16 in the Student Alumni Union lobby.

The 2011 RIT United Way campaign is under way.

The annual kickoff begins with a Carnival on Campus and prize auction from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 16 in the Student Alumni Union lobby.

Headlining activities include: Win It in a Minute challenges, Plinko, Skeeball, prize auction, cotton candy and popcorn.

The donation is 25 cents per game or participants can receive 10 free game tickets and one free prize auction ticket with a completed pledge form brought to the ticket booth. Tiger Bucks are accepted.

More than 60 items are available for prizes—all donated by local businesses and the RIT community—including $500 credit for RIT housing in spring quarter 2011, an oil painting of your pet or favorite landscape, an RIT quilt, a Casa Larga wine tour and tasting, or an HP iPAQ 211 Enterprise personal organizer.
