Volunteer instructors are needed to participate as workshop leaders for the Arc of Monroe County’s annual College Enrichment Experience. The program is a four-day college experience for adults with developmental disabilities being held June 20–23 at RIT.
During the program, volunteers share talents and subject-matter expertise for one-day or multiple-day classes. At previous summer sessions, programs such as computer skills, understanding fire safety, first-aid information and tai chi techniques were taught. The class times range from 45 minutes to 90 minutes and have, on the average, five to 12 students enrolled.
