A public information meeting on a proposed recycling and transfer facility located near the RIT campus is set for 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, at 85 Silvarole Drive, Henrietta.
The session is open to members of the RIT community and Henrietta residents. Silvarole Trucking Co. will outline its plan to construct and operate a material recovery facility on Silvarole Drive, located off Jefferson Road. The company is soliciting comments and feedback from the community.
The facility requires a permit from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. The DEC is currently reviewing the permit application. The town of Henrietta approval process has been completed.
