Tickets available for NCAA hockey weekend

Tickets are on sale now at the Gene Polisseni Center Box Office in person or by phone for the NCAA men’s hockey tournament. RIT faces Minnesota State University at 4 p.m. Saturday after winning the conference championship against Mercyhurst March 21.

The No. 4 seed RIT men’s hockey team will face top-seeded Minnesota State University in the 2015 NCAA Division I men’s hockey Midwest Regional on Saturday at the Compton Family Arena on the campus of the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind.

Tickets are on sale now at the Gene Polisseni Center Box Office in person or by phone at 585-475-4121. Tickets are available until 6 p.m. today and 10 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The first 200 student tickets are $45 and cover the RIT vs. Minnesota State University game at 4 p.m. Saturday, the University of Nebraska Omaha vs. Harvard University game at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and the regional championship at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. All other tickets are $60.

Two buses will leave Kate Gleason Circle at 5:15 a.m. Saturday and return from South Bend, Ind., at either 10 a.m. Sunday or immediately following the Midwest Regional final game Sunday evening. Final departure time is pending the outcome of Saturday’s tournament play.

There are 65 bus seats available for students. Students must pick up a bus voucher from the box office on campus and present it when boarding.

All lodging arrangements must be made individually.

RIT’s contest on Saturday will be aired on ESPNU. That game also will be broadcast over the airwaves on WITR-FM (89.7) and will be shown online on Watch ESPN.
