Wallace Center wins two Horizon Interactive Awards

Impact Report website takes top honors

The Wallace Center’s Impact Report website won top honors in two categories of the 2014 Horizon Interactive Awards.

Rochester Institute of Technology’s Wallace Center won two awards in one of the largest competitions in the field of interactive and creative media.

The Wallace Center’s Impact Report website was named a Gold Winner of the 2014 Horizon Interactive Awards in the Promotion and Portfolio and School and University categories. Each year, the Horizon Interactive Awards recognize the best creations in the field of interactive media, and the competition is fierce: The organization regularly receives more than 1,000 entries from every state in the U.S. and more than 40 other countries. Entries are judged by a panel of industry professionals and a panel of end-users, with Gold being the highest honor. This is the first time that RIT Production Services has been honored with Horizon Interactive Awards.

“The quality of the Impact Report website is a reflection of the quality of the Wallace Center team and the contributions we make to student and faculty success,” said Lynn Wild, associate provost for faculty development and The Wallace Center. “We are delighted by this external recognition.”
