THE SWEDISH BIG SHOT . . . RIT’s 20th “Big Shot” photo – the first outside the U.S. – captured the Royal Palace in Stockholm on Oct. 9. Faculty from the School of Photographic Arts and Sciences and National Technical Institute for the Deaf and 375 volunteers created this image as part of the first Lennart Nilsson Conference on Scientific Photography. They used camera flash units and flashlights to illuminate the subject during 45-second exposure. For more information vist the Web at www.rit.edu/bigshot.
