VEXU team qualifies for world championships
The RIT VEXU Robotics Team competed at Worcester Polytechnic Institute on Jan. 30 in Worcester, Mass., winning a Design Award and placing second in the Skills Competition. The team won the quarterfinal match against Northeastern Robotics and the semifinal match against the Goats of Fellabotics, but lost in the finals to top-seeded Aquidneck Island Robotics. The team plans to host a competition at RIT on Feb. 26 and has qualified for the VEX U World Championship Event in Dallas in early May.
