Women in Cybersecurity Student Chapter represents RIT at international conference
RIT’s Women in Cybersecurity Student Chapter attended the 2022 international Women in Cybersecurity Conference March 17-19 in Cleveland, Ohio. RIT won the 2022 Chapter Award for its student impact and organized activities. The 2021-22 executive board is Chris Sequeira, Olivia Gallucci, Kayla Hodgson, and Neha Sharma. In addition, Gallucci presented “Economics and Ethics Behind Successful Free and Open Source Security Projects”; Lalitha Donga presented “Data Provenance Defense Strategies for GPS Spoofing in Autonomous Vehicles”; and Anna Volpova and Sharma presented their research on data privacy issues in Smart Grid and location-based services.
