The College Activities Board (CAB)

The College Activities Board (CAB) is a student-run organization (MSO) that serves as the coordinating body for all major RIT student activities and programs. The mission of CAB is to provide a diverse assortment of entertaining and engaging events that enrich the RIT student experience.  CAB is comprised of seven divisions, each responsible for the development, implementation and assessment of specific programming initiatives.  The seven divisions are Friday Night Live, Late Night Events, Major Events, Recreation and Travel, Senior Events, Special Events and Thursday Night Cinema.

Brick City Homecoming & Family Weekend – Fall Semester

Brick City Homecoming & Family Weekend is organized by RIT Alumni Network. The RIT Alumni Network is THE place to connect with classmates and network with fellow Tigers. Create your own profile and you can keep in touch with fellow RIT classmates and teammates, or meet new alumni wherever you live, work and travel.

FreezeFest – Spring Semester

The goal of FreezeFest is to bring the RIT community together in new ways. Clubs, organizations, and departments on campus are encouraged to register their events to be part of the FreezeFest fun. Past events include Unification, Build-a-Buddy stuffed animals, 5K run, PuppyFest, food trucks, BINGO, and much more.

RIT SpringFest, sponsored by the College Activities Board (CAB) is RIT's annual student celebration of the end of the academic year. Enjoy free food, games, give-aways, a concert, and much more!

Imagine RIT – Spring Semester

Imagine RIT: Innovation and Creativity Festival is a campus-wide event that showcases the innovative and creative spirit of RIT students, faculty and staff. Visitors experience the breadth and depth of RIT through interactive presentations, hands-on demonstrations, exhibitions, and research projects set up throughout campus. Multiple performance stages with live music and entertainment are also a hit with visitors of all ages. Held annually each spring, Imagine RIT is the kickoff to Rochester’s rich festival season.
