Tiger Pride events and destinations deliver the world's top brands and leaders to Saunders students.

Traveling Tigers

Traveling Tiger events bring you to the location of one of Saunders' valued corporate partners. To register for a Traveling Tigers event, please select a date and fill in all the required personal information details. Each event is limited to 20-30 Saunders College of Business matriculated students (undergraduate and graduate).

A MANDATORY pre-visit meeting is scheduled the week before each event. You will be sent a Zoom link when you register. Please plan accordingly for these required meetings.

Students must provide their transportation unless otherwise noted.

Tiger Den events are held on our RIT campus. These events put you in direct contact with employees at Saunders Corporate Partners. Often these are members of our Industry Advisory Boards and/or Saunders alums.

Traveling Tigers: Delaware North- October 18, 2021

Students visited Delaware North, a global leader in hospitality management and food service management that provides food and beverage concessions, premium dining, entertainment, lodging, and retail at many large venues. These include sports stadiums, entertainment complexes, national and state parks, airports, and casinos. View trip photos.

Genevieve Paeglow, Director of Talent Acquisition and Matt Collins, Financial Advisor were invited to tell students about co-op and full-time opportunities with Alliance Advisory Group.

Tiger Den: Open Forum with Dr. Barry Bloom, President and COO of Xenia- March 22, 2019

Dr. Barry Bloom, President and COO of Xenia Hotels & Resorts was invited by the international hospitality and service innovation department for an open forum with RIT students, faculty and staff. Dr. Bloom is responsible for direct oversight of the asset management and project management functions as well as a variety of strategic and operational corporate functions of Xenia.

Tiger Den: Management Speaker Series Featuring First American Equipment Finance- March 8, 2019

Alan Sikora, CEO of First American Equipment Finance was invited by the Management Advisory Board to speak to students about his journey since graduating from college and what he has learned along the way. Tiger Den: Management Speaker Series Featuring Constellation Brands- February 20, 2019

Mark Brown, Talent Planning Manager, and Maggie McMahon, Talent Acquisition Specialist, of Constellation Brands were invited by the Management Advisory Board to speak to students about Constellation Brands, their Internship Program and Investment in Cannabis. Traveling Tigers: Pegula Sports and Entertainment- October 26, 2018

Students visited PSE, a management company that streamlines key business areas across all Pegula family owned sports and entertainment properties, including the Buffalo Bills (NFL), Buffalo Sabres (NHL), Buffalo Bandits (NLL), Buffalo Beauts (NWHL) and Rochester Americans (AHL). View trip photos.

Traveling Tigers: Carlson Cowork- February 24, 2017

"Carlson Cowork was founded as a place for business to grow." It is a community of entrepreneurs seeking a space to grown their business ideas, network, and collaborate. Co-working invigorates idea generation, reduces isolation, and provides a proving-ground for building brand identities. As "members," working in a common spaces, ideas percolate and events occur which facilitate collaboration and growth. View trip photos.

Gleason Corporation is a prominent machine tool builder based in Rochester. They are also a global leader in the technology of gearing. Customers including companies in industries such as automotive, aerospace, construction equipment, and the truck industry. View trip photos.

Traveling Tigers: Mehany Welding Supply & ARC Flame Center- March 16, 2016

Mahany Welding Supply was founded in 1946 that provides innovative solutions to welding and fabrication problems. In 2001, Mahany Welding Supply created the Rochester Arc + Flame Center, which allows the public to learn welding, glass working, and blacksmithing. View trip photos.
