Cirillo, Dentley lead program on spirituality and mental health
Andrew Cirillo, University Chaplain, and Joshua Dentley, staff therapist from Counseling and Psychological Services, facilitated their second student cohort on the relationship between spirituality and mental health. The Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-based program, “Faith & Feelings: Exploring the Intersection of Spirituality and Mental Health,” allowed students to engage in a safe space, sharing insights, experiences, and feelings surrounding their spiritualities and how sacred practices influence positive behaviors in mental health. The program was supported by the Chaplaincy Innovation Lab and the Ruderman Family Foundation.
