BizCloud Experts and RIT Partner to Invest in the Next Generation of Software Engineers

One of the hallmarks of an RIT education is hands-on experiences, applying classroom knowledge to real-world projects. Thanks to a recent partnership with BizCloud Experts, students in the undergraduate software engineering program were able to do just that, learning to use Amazon Web Services (AWS) under the professional guidance of BizCloud team members.
The industry expertise provided by BizCloud Experts allowed students in Software Design Principles and Patterns (SWEN-383) and Engineering Cloud Software Systems (SWEN-514), taught by senior lecturer Kenn Martinez, to gain real-world experience in the classroom. Moreover, BizCloud Experts contributed AWS cloud resources that gave students direct, hands-on access to professional-grade cloud infrastructure — the same tools used by engineering teams across the industry.
