The Office of Student Engagement and Belonging (OSEB) in the Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences is committed to providing all students with a community where they feel they belong. We offer a range of comprehensive events, programs, and services that widen the windows of access and broaden the pathways to success. 

Initiatives in the OSEB are open to all eligible members of the RIT community, regardless of protected category.

Women in Computing

Women in Computing at the Rochester Institute of Technology (WiC) is an all inclusive organization that provides an interdisciplinary networking forum for students, faculty, staff and alumni involved in the field of computing at RIT, regardless of gender, race or sex. WiC at RIT also encourages the success of women and all gender minorities through community outreach, professional, leadership, mentorship, and technical development opportunities.

Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Students

The Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences, in collaboration with the National Technical Institute for the Deaf, is committed to providing deaf and hard-of-hearing students with outstanding access and support services, such as interpreting services, note-taking, real-time captioning, and tutoring/advising.
