KhudaBukhsh publishes on media coverage of policing

Ashique KhudaBukhsh, assistant professor of software engineering, and Sujan Dutta, a Ph.D. student in computing and information sciences, in collaboration with students and faculty from Carnegie Mellon University and Boston College, published “Measuring criticism of the police in the local news media using large language models” in Proceedings of National Academy of Sciences. In the paper, they investigate local news media coverage of policing for the last decade.
