When building larger-scale web applications, there are a myriad of concerns that range from technology, security, framework, and architecture selection to runtime performance optimization. This course focuses on the development of secure integrated web applications that consume information served from one or many sources. Trends in web application development are identified and assessed. To support professional growth, students will also develop AI literacy, learning how to evaluate, apply, and critique Artificial Intelligence responsibly and ethically in the context of secure web application development. Programming projects are required.
