Unlike financial aid, which is granted primarily based on financial needs of the candidates, scholarships are granted to students who meet certain criteria related to their academic and other achievements or success achieved in the scholarship contests organized by RIT Croatia. Some scholarships are combined with financial aid, while in some cases, students will need to pick one or the other.
When applying for admission, students should confirm their interest in scholarships in the online application form. Students will then receive further instructions from our Admission Specialists, and further steps might include submitting a scholarship application letter or some other supporting document (depending on the type of scholarship).
The Scholarship Committee will evaluate every scholarship application and make decisions on monthly or bi-weekly basis, depending on the time of the year (with the exception of Outstanding Scholarship and Welcome to Croatia Scholarship, which will be approved to all candidates who meet the criteria).
When assessing applications, the Scholarship Committee looks at specific achievements and quality required by each of the scholarship categories, but also takes into consideration the candidate's potential to be successful in the chosen study program.
