RIT Croatia partners in the STEM ZA SVE 2.0 project to promote STEM education

RIT Croatia is proud to participate as a partner in the implementation of the project STEM ZA SVE 2.0, which aims to bring STEM content closer to children and students, with a special focus on inclusivity and rural areas.
The project includes a series of activities focused on:
Interactive activities for children in kindergartens and schools – exhibitions, workshops, and competitions with educational robots;
Popularizing science in public spaces through STEM stands, festivals, and fairs;
Education of STEM educators and teachers through workshops, mentoring, and international study trips.

Project activities are completely free for children and institutions because STEM ZA SVE 2.0 is co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus.

Its goal is to stimulate curiosity, eagerness to learn, and the development of STEM competencies from the earliest age, and your institution can participate in one of two ways:

  1. SpektaRural STEM Day: an interactive STEM exhibition in kindergartens and schools across Croatia where children get to learn about educational robots and have the opportunity to code, program, and operate educational technology. Register your institution here.
  2. Promotion of STEM fields in public places: promotion of STEM through organizing popular science events for children and students in public spaces such as squares, parks, libraries, sports halls, local councils, as part of public events… More info here.

The project leader of STEM FOR ALL 2.0 is the Institute for STEM Education and Afterschool Programs association, and RIT Croatia proudly participates as a partner with the goal of strengthening and transferring knowledge in the STEM field through academic expertise and mentoring.

Our role focuses on:
• Knowledge transfer between the academic and practical sectors,
• Education and mentoring of employees and volunteers of civil society organizations,
• Popularization of STEM through cooperation with preschool institutions and NGOs,
• Providing structural support in the development of educational materials and implementation of activities.

This partnership is a continuation of the successful cooperation from the previous ESF project STEM for All, which enables continuity, additional quality, and a better understanding of the needs of local communities. Through activities on this project, RIT Croatia further strengthens its role as an academic partner actively contributing to socially responsible projects aimed at knowledge development, innovation, and inclusive education.
