#volontiramurealnom: MIOC Students Immersed in a Day at RIT Croatia

In a vibrant exchange of knowledge and experience, RIT Croatia recently welcomed two exceptional high school students, Barbara Trsek and Mihaela Vidović, as part of the #volontiramurealnom (Volunteering in real world) project initiated by their school, XV. gimnazija (MIOC). The initiative encourages students to step out of traditional classroom settings and spend a day immersed in the professional world, gaining firsthand insights into various industries.

Barbara and Mihaela chose RIT Croatia for its unique blend of international education and industry relevance. They knew about RIT Croatia through social media, and decided to explore our campus and work environment. As they delved into the day's activities, their expectations evolved, offering them a 2-in-1 experience that went beyond mere volunteering.

"At first, we chose RIT because it seemed cool. We didn't know much about it, but the idea of getting to know the entire campus and work process was intriguing," shared Barbara Trsek, a 2nd-grade student from MIOC.

RIT Croatia's commitment to student-centricity was evident from the start. Throughout the day, Barbara and Mihaela were immersed in various facets of RIT Croatia's environment. From understanding the dynamics of our marketing and admissions team and participating in an ongoing project to attending lectures and interacting with professors and students, their experience was comprehensive.

Mihaela Vidović, also a 2nd-grade student from MIOC, expressed her satisfaction, saying, "Our expectations were more than met. We not only got to know RIT Croatia as a college but also as a community and a company. We worked on an actual marketing project, attended a lecture, and absorbed the experiences of wonderful professors and helpful students," shared Mihaela Vidović.

RIT Croatia takes pride in being an educational institution that fosters an environment of learning, exploration, and growth. The commitment to quality education is not only reflected in the classroom but extends to initiatives like #volontiramurealnom, which provides students with a real-world perspective on their potential future careers.

"Anyone who has the chance should participate in this project”, said Barbara. “Absolutely”, added Mihaela. “Volunteering at RIT Croatia is very beneficial!"

As RIT Croatia continues to open its doors to young minds eager to explore and learn, the institution remains dedicated to promoting quality education, ensuring that every student's journey is filled with meaningful experiences that contribute to their personal and professional development. Barbara and Mihaela's visit stands as a testament to the institution's commitment to shaping the future leaders of tomorrow.
