New Media Design applicants: Candidates applying for the New Media Design undergraduate program must submit their portfolio as part of the admission process. The portfolio must include at least 8 samples of the original artwork created in at least three different media. The artwork may consist of observational drawings, original or computer-generated graphics, motion graphics, photographs, animations, and 3D models or renderings.
Candidates can upload their work directly to the application platform or provide a link where interactive and digital work can be viewed/downloaded. Candidates can use any platform supporting portfolio sharing, such as ArtStation, Dribbble, Behance, or similar. All portfolios will be reviewed by a panel of three faculty members: the program area head, a faculty member in the field of arts, and a faculty member in the technical sciences. All candidates for this program will receive instructions on how to proceed with this step during their application process.
Students who apply before having completed high school (in their final year) can get conditional acceptance until they finish high school and complete the required national exams of their country.
Candidates who have completed secondary education outside of Croatia need to have their foreign educational credentials recognized by the Agency of Science and Higher Education. Our Admissions Specialists will guide all candidates through this process. You can read more about it here: https://www.studij.hr/recognition
Candidates will be informed of an admission decision after they submit all requested documentation and participate in the motivational interview. The assessment of English proficiency is based on an interview with the admission specialist, a motivational essay, and high school grades. Since many of our applicants did not attend high schools in English-speaking areas, SAT and ACT exam results are not required. Candidates who completed the SAT, ACT, and TOEFL exams may submit their scores to support their application for admission.
All admission decisions are conditional until the candidate receives an enrollment confirmation through the National Enrollment System.
You can see our current Call for Enrollment HERE.

- Submit an online application
- Upload copies of your college/university grade transcript together with course descriptions
