A Few Fun Facts About Me: 

• Shameless Brag: I am the reigning mini golf champ in my family!
• Three Foods I Can’t Live Without: cheese, aloha bars, and coffee
• My Bucket List Experiences or Destinations: Explore Banff National Park and Lake Louise; stay in an overwater bungalow in Bora Bora; and connect with my roots in Finland, where my maternal great grandparents are from.
• Scariest Thing I Ever Did and Would I Do It Again?: I took a leave of absence during grad school and eventually changed my path. It was terrifying at the time, but I’d do it again since it’s what led me to a career in advising/higher education.
• On my Perfect Day off, I’m most Likely…: Starting the day with an iced Jamaican Me Crazy coffee from Finger Lakes Coffee Roasters, followed by a cycle class at the Y, some relaxing time at home reading or catching up on shows, then ending the day cheering on my kids at the ball field or ice rink, depending on the time of year.
• What Excites Me about Being an Advisor to RIT College of Liberal Arts Students? The chance to build meaningful relationships with students and to serve as a consistent, encouraging presence throughout their college journey.
• One Thing People Would be Surprised to Learn About Me: I am the happiest and most at peace by the water.
