IC Postdoctoral Fellowship

The U.S. IC Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Program funds ca. 20 researchers each year (for a two-year appointments) and recently, has funded several postdocs who are focused on research of mutual interest to us and the U.K. These joint ventures have been highly productive and we are working to enlist more U.K.professors to promote the U.K.’s IC Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Program.

Novelution – Salary Release Help Guide

As part of the launch of the new Sponsored Research Module in Novelution, individuals that will have budgeted effort on sponsored research projects will need to provide the approval to release their individual salary information for use by SRS staff to develop project budgets. Much like the current proposal development process, access to the salary information of relevant faculty and staff is needed to develop budgets for sponsored research projects.

NSF Launches EducateAI Initiative

The U.S. National Science Foundation is excited to announce the EducateAI initiative. The goal of the initiative is to enable educators to make high-quality, audience-appropriate artificial intelligence educational experiences available nationwide to K-12, community college, four-year college and graduate students, as well as adults interested in formal training in AI.

NSF Build and Broaden Workshop

The Build and Broaden Program in the Directorate of Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences will host its second annual program symposium on November 2 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm EST.

Build and Broaden aims to broaden participation in the social, behavioral and economic sciences through support for research, training and research infrastructure at minority-serving institutions, including partnerships with and among those institutions.

NASA Space Technology Graduate Research Opportunities (NSTGRO) solicitation, available on NSPIRES at https://tinyurl.com/NSTGRO24, was released as an Appendix to the Space Technology Mission Directorate (STMD) NASA Research Announcement, titled Space Technology Research, Development, Demonstration, and Infusion 2023 (SpaceTech-REDDI-2023). The proposal deadline is November 1, 2023 (6 PM Eastern, 3 PM Pacific).
