Outreach and recruitment activities inspire a love for the sciences and mathematics in K-12 girls, education activities enrich the undergraduate experience of COS majors, and policy and programmatic activities enable the advancement and success of women in science and mathematics disciplines.

SMASH Experience
SMASH is a program for rising eighth-grade girls designed to build confidence in science and math. The curriculum focuses on improving the two attitudinal values, perceived usefulness of mathematic and mathematical self-efficacy, impacting math-related achievement. Girls about to enter the eighth grade can join us at RIT for five days of cool science fun with math.
