Along the way, you’ll discover how agriculture, ecology, tourism, and the green economy are interconnected, while learning directly from experts and local business leaders. 2026 Program dates: March 7-15, 2026

Program excursions may include:

  • Lecture on agriculture and AI, and tourism from two RIT Croatia faculty members.
  • Visit to a farm and nature preserve that focuses on sustainability and organic foods.
  • Visit to the distribution center for a major Croatian grocery store.
  • Visit the winery of an RIT Croatia student’s family.
  • Visit an oil mill of an RIT Croatia student’s family,
  • Visit the Arena in Pula.
  • Have a lecture about Eco Certificates.
  • Cooking session to prepare a traditional Croatian meal.

Students won't pay tuition since this program does not count for academic credit. Instead, participants will pay a program fee that covers housing, travel and medical insurance, transportation between activities, and group meals.

The program is open to both graduate and undergraduate students from all majors and all year levels.

Application deadline: January 7, 2026

Program Cost

Students would pay a program fee (housing and excursions while in Croatia) and out-of-pocket costs (flight, meals, personal spending money). No tuition will be charged since this is a non-credit program.
