Generative AI tools make it easier than ever for students to bypass the actual process of thinking, but true understanding requires effort. This workshop explores how to counter passive tech reliance by intentionally designing "productive struggle" back into the classroom. Join us to discover creative, practical classroom activity designs that challenge students, slow down their thinking, and spark deeper, more resilient learning.

Facilitators: Lara Cardoso Goulart, School of Design & Cana Fuest, Center for Teaching and Learning
