CEO Interprets Needs of Local Economy During RIT Speaking Event, Nov. 6

Thomas Judson will be featured during the Alumni Executive Breakfast Briefing

A lot has been said about the potential for streamlining government to energize the Rochester-area economy. What will it take for the community to overcome these hurdles on the path to future prosperity?

Thomas Judson, chairman and CEO of The Pike Company Inc., will share his insights during the latest installment of the Alumni Executive Breakfast Briefing series, sponsored by Rochester Institute of Technology’s College of Business.

Judson is a member of the Rump Group, which recently commissioned a report offering a call to action to local community members. “Apathy is Not an Option” addresses the increasing challenges facing the economy and government. It also offers ideas on how to make government more effective and efficient, while maintaining necessary services.

The discussion, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6, takes place at Oak Hill Country Club in Pittsford and is open to the public.

Registration for the event is $13, which includes breakfast. For more information, contact Donna Slavin at 585-475-2199 or visit the Web at www.cob.rit.edu/alumni.
